TJ Tekurio
Director-Creator-Curator-Choreographer-Mentor
TJ Tekurio is a South Florida–based choreographer, show director, and creative producer specializing in large-scale live entertainment and immersive guest experiences. With a foundation in classical and contemporary training and a BFA in Choreography & Performance from Towson University, TJ’s work blends strong storytelling, emotional punch, and movement that invites audiences in.

He began his career performing on luxury cruise ships before stepping into choreography, staging, and direction for major cruise lines and live events. TJ has since created award-winning productions for Celebrity Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruise Line, and Miami Beach Gay Pride.

Currently, TJ works extensively with Disney Cruise Line as a Show Director, shaping high-profile onboard productions and marquee moments, including The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Disney Destiny Christening, and nationally televised performances seen by tens of millions. He is known for crafting entertainment that connects, energizes, and lingers long after the final beat.
Alongside his creative work, TJ remains deeply committed to education, accessibility, and community, teaching across South Florida, developing inclusive movement programs, and producing industry-focused podcasts that spotlight working creatives.
